About Us

Indian Dental Association, is an association of all dental surgeons in India having branches in most states with almost 73 yrs of strong history. On 20th July 2006, 30 dental surgeons of Meghalaya forwarded a proposal to the IDA head Office Mumbai to form a state branch. The Central Council of IDA, the same year formerly approved it and thus IDA Meghalaya branch was born on 17th Aug 2006.

Vision

To conduct regular CDE( Continuing Dental Education) programmes like lectures and workshops to be able to keep updated with the ever advancing dental sciences. Holding CDH(Continuing Dental Health) programmes for the benefit of the society and hosting state, regional and national lever seminars and conferences for the benefit of our members.

Mission

The objectives of the association are promotion, encouragement and advancement of the dental and allied sciences. Encourage the members to undertake measures for the improvement of public health and dental education in our state and the country at large. Maintenance of dignity and honour of the dental profession and to protect the rights and interest of the members of the association.

Countdown Begins

The EC members of IDA Meghalaya met together to finalise matters as the days of the conference drew nearer. Our General Secretary doing the check list as all different committees gave their updates.
